Writing in the Huffington Post, Arianna Huffington comments that a major problem with Iraq and the administration is that the media "refuse to call the administration on its deceptions."
Witless Woody
I read the New York Post online -- I especially like the gossip columns: Cindy Adams, Liz Smith and Page Six. The article headlines generally are focused on scandal, but once in a while there's a gem, such as Arnold Ahlert's article Woody Witless on War. I've never cared for Woody Allen anyway, so I don't disagree with Ahlert's opinion.

Curling Up
Books are not becoming extinct yet, according to an editorial in todays's New York Times, "Yes, Obi-wan, There Still are Books." As one who prefers a printed page to a screen, I'm encouraged by the comment "The good news is that even in this high-tech age, books appear to be holding their own." It seems that many still like to Curl Up with a good book.
